Our Story
Manuela started researching and formulating hair and body products back in 2011, in response to her frustration of not finding a salon that could handle and style her thick curly hair. She was tired of paying not less than $100 to have her hair relaxed every 2 weeks.
The cold Canadian winters mostly resulted in her hair becoming dry and brittle and getting ‘ashy skin’, aka looking white like a ghost. Being a Ghanaian she remembered her granny and household using mostly shea butter, African black soap (natives of her country of birth) and other moisturizing and hydrating butters. So she decided to chop off her permed hair and go back to her roots. Friends and others were amazed that our thick curly hair and skin could thrive in this Canadian cold Eh! The rest was history, the shinny curly hair and radiating skin glow did the talking.

It’s a mom and son duo. Mom does the formulating and son combines the scents and colours.
